—— Commemorating the 2024 "August 1st Army Day" Outdoor Military Expansion Activity for Veterans

Never forget the military spirit, promote the soldier's style. To celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, affirm the achievements of retired soldiers, further enrich the spiritual and cultural life of veterans, and inspire the patriotic enthusiasm of all veterans, the company's party committee organized a unique military expansion activity themed "Inheriting Military Spirit, Together Creating Corporate Glory" for all retired soldiers.

Upon arriving at the base, amidst the resounding military songs, everyone was divided into four major teams through ice-breaking games, each electing a captain, designing a team flag, and determining a slogan, and they quickly began the expansion training. Each team showcased their seamless cooperation and combat skills by completing a series of highly coordinated projects such as fire line transmission and synchronized marching in the shortest time possible.

With the rallying call sounded, all veterans quickly assembled and completed formation training under the instructor's command. Everyone moved in unison, just like the spirited days in the barracks. The veterans seemed to return to the military; the simplest commands like 'rest' and 'attention' could instantly bring them back to the state, and even the veterans who had retired for many years, despite their mobility issues, did their best to keep up with the collective pace, demonstrating their military essence of 'coming when called, ready to fight'.

Shooting, cannon firing, and armored vehicle experience projects had the veterans excited, spirited, and eager to try. They held guns, aimed, and shot, all actions flowing seamlessly, showcasing their military demeanor. On the armored vehicle, they waved their arms like commanding officers inspecting troops, eliciting cheers from the group.

Recalling the past, talking about the present. During a barbecue break, everyone reminisced about their passionate military careers, expressed gratitude for the Datu River work platform, and discussed the future development of Datu River. "Thank you to the company leaders for remembering a group like us; this is the most genuine care and love for veterans, allowing us retired soldiers to briefly set aside work and gather together, this feeling is happy and joyful, and it is of great significance," said a newly retired employee who just joined the company with enthusiasm.

The collective singing of military songs brought the event to a climax. One military song after another echoed in the air, the powerful singing expressed their indelible military and brotherhood feelings, and also showcased their commitment to never forget their original intentions, remain unchanged, and maintain their military spirit. Everyone expressed that they would fully utilize the fine traditions of veterans in their respective positions, working hard, being practical and dedicated, daring to innovate, take responsibility, and act, demonstrating the 'different' strength of veterans for the development of Datu River.
