On March 11, the groundbreaking ceremony for the urban district centralized heating project of Lin County Futai Central Heating Co., Ltd. was held with great fanfare, marking the official commencement of construction on this vital public‑welfare initiative that will ensure comfortable heating for thousands of households. This project is a major public‑benefit initiative for Lin County in 2026, with a total investment of approximately RMB 710 million and a planned heating supply area of 5.5966 million square meters. The works will involve constructing a new long‑distance main pipeline network, upgrading two high‑capacity pressure‑reducing heat exchange stations, and comprehensively renovating the aging pipe network, thereby fully resolving the urban heating system’s capacity bottlenecks.
