——Delivered by the Chief Advisor as the first lecture of the new year, marking the resumption of work in 2026.

On the afternoon of February 23, Chief Advisor Jia Tingliang visited Tan Yao Ping Coal Industry and delivered a “First Lesson on Resuming Work,” characterized by a clear theme and profound insights, to galvanize team leaders and section chiefs, providing them with focused direction and guiding them as they officially kick off the year’s work.

During his lecture, drawing on the company’s many years of practical experience, he conveyed to frontline managerial leaders a clear orientation toward hands-on execution, meticulous management, and principled leadership, thereby aligning thinking, clarifying the roadmap, and energizing efforts for the year ahead. Beginning with his personal experience of guiding villagers to cultivate their fields with painstaking care, he used concrete examples to illuminate broader principles, explaining management in a way that was both profound and accessible. Coal‑mine management shares an essential kinship with field agriculture: only by shouldering responsibility as diligently as one tends the land, approaching every task with scrupulous attention, ensuring that each step is meticulously executed, every job is carried out with solid commitment, and every standard is rigorously upheld, can we guarantee the safe and stable operation of all performance indicators—and thus lay a firm foundation for the enterprise’s steady, sustainable growth.

The chief advisor pointed out that safety is an enduring priority for corporate development and the top priority in coal‑mine operations. He emphasized that ensuring safety requires constant vigilance and unwavering, sustained effort; it demands rigorous attention to detail and proactive risk prevention; and it calls for clearly defined responsibilities and meticulous implementation. Adhering to regulations and laws, maintaining transparency, and standardizing procedures, we must make fairness and impartiality the hallmark of our management, and build a robust defense for workplace safety through integrity and sound governance. He further stressed that, during this critical period of resuming work after the holiday, any issues identified must be addressed and resolved immediately—never allowing safety risks to linger overnight. A thorough inspection of potential hazards is imperative, with comprehensive “health checks” conducted across all major underground systems, swiftly transitioning from “holiday mode” to full operational readiness.

“Enterprises and employees are a community of shared destiny, each contributing to the other’s success,” the chief advisor emphasized in closing. He noted that the company’s growth hinges on the hard work of every employee, while employees’ well‑being depends on the enterprise’s steady progress. He called on all cadres and staff to uphold a diligent, pragmatic, and highly responsible work ethic, adopting a rigorous “daily review and closure” approach to make solid headway in the three critical battles—safety, cost control, and efficiency. With meticulous attention to detail, they should ensure every task is carried out effectively, and with a spirit of responsibility and practical action, shoulder the heavy burden of development, thereby laying a robust foundation for the company’s high‑quality growth.
