As the year draws to a close and the new year begins, on the occasion of the approaching Spring Festival, I would like, on behalf of Datuhe Company, to extend our sincerest greetings and warmest New Year wishes to all our employees and their families, as well as to leaders at all levels and friends from all walks of life who have shown concern for and supported the development of Datuhe.

The year 2025, which has just concluded, marked the company’s 40th anniversary—a milestone year and a pivotal moment of continuity and renewal. Throughout this year, with the steadfast resolve and clear-eyed determination of those who have reached “forty without confusion,” we tackled formidable challenges amid a complex and demanding environment, successfully achieving all our annual objectives. This not only added a weighty chapter to four decades of arduous effort but also sounded the clarion call for a new journey ahead.

This year, we upheld the safety bottom line, further solidifying the foundations of our development. We consistently prioritized workplace safety, deepened the “dual-prevention” mechanism, rigorously implemented the “root-cause‑addressing and tough‑challenge‑tackling” campaign, and vigorously advanced the dynamic compliance of safety‑production standardization. With the goal of achieving “zero gas exceedances,” we strengthened “one ventilation and three prevention” management, ensuring a steadily improving safety record throughout the year and building a robust safeguard for the company’s sustained and steady progress.

This year, we pursued bold reforms and innovations, unleashing sustained internal momentum. New processes and technologies—such as “single‑pass full‑height mining,” “gob‑side entry retaining,” and “grouting‑based mining in overlying fractured strata”—have progressed from successful pilot projects to widespread implementation, serving as powerful drivers of quality improvement and efficiency gains. Meanwhile, innovative management models like the “materials‑storage supermarket” have been steadily rolled out, enabling more precise cost control.

This year, we pooled our efforts to cut costs and boost efficiency, significantly strengthening our operational resilience. Amid market volatility, we honed our internal capabilities, rigorously managed our comprehensive budget, and steadily reduced material and electricity consumption, while the practice of “repairing and repurposing old assets and handing in old ones for new” gained widespread traction. By refining our performance‑evaluation system and delegating management authority, we greatly energized all units and every employee, achieving steady improvements in profitability even in a challenging environment.

This year, we have cultivated a fertile ground for talent, and our team has demonstrated a vibrant, upward‑moving spirit. We have continued to advance “precision‑driven” training, establishing three distinct career pathways—management, technical, and operational—to nurture talent at every level. A cohort of core professionals like Comrade Li Erqin, who have risen from the front lines and aligned themselves with the pulse of the times, have become the backbone of the company’s development. Meanwhile, an increasing number of young talents have taken root on the front lines, turning their aspirations into reality through hard work.

This year, we have shouldered our social responsibilities, firmly establishing our corporate image in the hearts of the public. We have remained committed to green mining practices, safeguarding our lush mountains and clear waters, and actively supported public welfare initiatives, contributing to the advancement of education. Datuhe is not only an enterprise that creates economic value; it is also a caring, responsible “home,” and through concrete actions, we give back to the land that has nurtured our growth.

The old year has unfurled a thousand layers of splendor, and the new year will see us climb yet another hundred feet. 2026 marks the inaugural year of the nation’s 15th Five-Year Plan, as well as the moment when Datuhe embarks on a fresh journey from its four-decade milestone. This new voyage carries with it fresh dreams, and this new mission calls for renewed action.

In the new year, we will continue to uphold the principle of “putting life first and safety above all,” advancing our intrinsic safety standards to a new level through higher benchmarks, stricter requirements, and more concrete measures. We will deepen our commitment to “technology-led, innovation-driven” development, leveraging new‑type productive forces to forge fresh competitive advantages. With a focus on “cost reduction and efficiency gains, coupled with lean management,” we will internalize the mindset of “tightening our belts” and translate it into concrete actions, extracting greater value from effective management and continuously strengthening the company’s core competitiveness.

Comrades and friends! With the blueprint in hand, it is time to hoist the sails and brave the waves; as the road ahead is long and arduous, we must press forward with renewed vigor.
